CarryQuote’s management team is composed of seasoned software entrepreneurs and technologists, visionaries in technical macroeconomic trading, and thought leaders from the financial services industry.

Christian Erlandson
Chief Executive Officer

Christian Erlandson is the CEO of CarryQuote. He is an industry veteran with 19 years of demonstrated success in the investment banking, financial services, and financial technology markets. Prior to joining CarryQuote, Christian had been the UK Head of Sales for Thomson Reuters, where he lead a team of over 100 sales specialists, driving more than $1 billion in annual revenues. Previously, as Head of Investment Management for EMEA, Christian optimised the Thomson Reuters business model, managing and growing a revenue base of approximately $275 million. Before joining Thomson Reuters, he played a key role in driving annual revenues of the high-growth financial technology company Multex, selling bespoke solutions to strategic buy-side clients. As a result, revenues grew from $60 million to $96 million in two years. Leveraging his sales and marketing expertise, Christian spent the previous six years in senior leadership positions growing financial content company, Primark Corporation, into a $1 billion global business that was ultimately acquired by Thomson Corporation.

Christian graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.A in Sociology.  He holds dual citizenship in the U.K. and U.S,. and lives in London with his wife and two children.

Lars Tvede
Co-Founder

Lars Tvede (www.larstvede.com) is a member of the Board of Directors and a co-founder of CarryQuote. Lars spent 14 years in trading related businesses, including portfolio management, derivatives trading, and investment banking. He has also been a frequent media commentator on financial markets.

Since 1994, he has founded and co-founded several information technology companies, including Tenfore Systems and The Fantastic Corporation. The Fantastic Corporation went public on the Frankfurt Neue Markt with Goldman Sachs/Deutsche Bank in less than four years.

Lars is also an author/co-author of many books covering financial trading, marketing research, market planning, general economics, crises theory and telecommunication/software. These include his best-selling "The Psychology of Finance", which offered the world's first cohesive theory of technical analysis. It has been widely translated and remains in print more than 20 years after its first publication.

Lars holds a Masters of Science degree in Engineering from Royal Danish Veterinary and Agricultural University and a Bachelor's degree in international commerce from Copenhagen Business School.

Kurt Holdener
Chief Financial Officer

Kurt HoldenerKurt Holdener is the CFO of CarryQuote. Prior to joining CarryQuote, he was co-owner of a consulting and IT company in Switzerland. In this role, he managed accounting, taxation, and organizational projects and implemented ERP-Software Microsoft Dynamics NAV for national and international businesses. He has 20 years of experience and is fluent in German, English, and French.

Kurt graduated with the “dipl. Treuhandexperte” (Certified Trustee) from the Swiss Institute of Certified Accountants and Tax Consultants.

Sergei Selin
Chief Technology Officer

Sergei A. Selin is the Chief Technical Officer of CarryQuote. He has over twenty years of solid software industry experience of architecting, developing and deploying desktop and server applications, device drivers and embedded systems as well as network-based applications and control systems.

From 2005 through 2007, Sergei held the position of CTO for Wrapmail, Inc., a US-based marketing company offering technology for internal corporate email marketing. From 1998 through 2005, Sergei was Sr. VP and CTO for RMS Networks, Inc a US-based in-store video advertising company. From 1992 through 1998, he held various senior software development positions and prior to this he was employed with National Space Mission Control Centre (Russia) as an engineer. Sergei has a B.S. in Space Engineering from Moscow Aviation Institute.

Dmitry Rakovitsky
Chief Operating Officer

Dmitry Rakovitsky is the Chief Operating Officer for CarryQuote. He is an industry veteran with over 15 years of product and technology leadership experience focused in the financial services and internet industries. Prior to joining CarryQuote, Dmitry served as Executive Vice President of Product Management and Technology for InfoNgen, a leading provider of cloud-based financial information management and discovery services. During his tenure at InfoNgen, Dmitry built the product management and technology organizations from scratch and lead business development and strategy for the company's largest relationships.

Previously, Dmitry was a Vice President of Product Development at Multex, a pioneer in online investment research that provided investment information and technology solutions to the global financial services industry. For two years while at Multex the company went through a dynamic growth period which culminated in 2003 with the $240 million acquisition by Reuters. Dmitry made the transition to Reuters, where he managed the global product development group involved in all aspects of product development for institutional products within the Reuters Research Solutions business, which contributed over $50 million annually.

Dmitry holds a BS in Software Engineering from Technion, The Israel Institute of Technology.

Nicholas Petras
Head of Sales and Business Development, EMEA

Nicholas Petras is CarryQuote's Head of Sales and Business Development, EMEA. Nicholas is an industry expert with over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining CarryQuote, Nicholas was the Global Head of Investment Management Solutions for Thomson Reuters, where he spearheaded the evolution of their entire investment management solutions portfolio to address changing market needs. He also worked on the post-merger integration of the sales team, delivering consistent performance despite a challenging market environment. Prior to Thomson Reuters, Nicholas spent six years at Factset Research Systems as VP of Institutional Sales. He began his career at Bloomberg L.P.

Nicholas holds a Masters of Science in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics, both from the University of Reading in the UK.

Dan Ryan
General Counsel

Dan Ryan is the General Counsel of CarryQuote. Prior to joining CarryQuote he worked as a lawyer for leading international law firms, including Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Baker & McKenzie, in both Hong Kong and Shanghai. His work focused on providing advice to leading US and European multinationals in the technology sector in Asia. Dan speaks and reads Mandarin Chinese.

He graduated with degrees in both Law and Asian Studies from the Australian National University.

John Yapaola
Advisor

John Yapaola is an advisor to the Company. He has more than 20 years experience in the management and growth of high-technology start-up companies. He has held executive positions in sales, marketing, and operations at several technology companies with successful IPOs.

John is currently a founding member of the New York Angels Investment Group, based in New York City. In his current executive position, he serves as CEO of Kapow Technologies, a leader in harvesting mashable public and private web intelligence with software that turns the Web into the world's largest database. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President of Business Development for Paytrust, Inc., where he was responsible for developing and implementing the business development strategy. Prior to joining Paytrust, he served as Executive Vice President of Operations for the Americas at The Fantastic Corporation, and served as Vice President of Sales at Logic Works.

He is on the Board of several privately held companies. John graduated from St. Peter's College.
